Product Overview

The 2023–2025 GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado are some of the best-looking mid-size trucks available—but they still come from the factory with noticeable nose-down rake. Cognito developed this leveling kit to bring the front stance up while keeping factory driving comfort and suspension geometry intact.

For AT4 & Trail Boss Models

These trims come with roughly 4.5" of droop travel, leaving plenty of room for additional height without over-stressing ball joints or CVs.
Cognito achieves a true 2" front lift by combining:

• Billet strut spacers
• Preload rings that convert part of the stock droop into lift

The result: a level, aggressive stance while still maintaining nearly 4" of droop travel—critical for ride quality and component longevity.

For AT4X & ZR2 Models

These models come from GM with an extra 1" of front ride height already built in through increased spring preload. They also use Multimatic DSSV dampers, limiting the use of preload spacers.
For this reason:

• Preload rings are not used
• Only the billet strut spacers are installed
  This produces an additional 1" of lift while maintaining proper droop travel and preserving the excellent ride quality of the DSSV shocks.

The end result is a slightly more level appearance without sacrificing performance or durability.
